About the Role:
Join a well-established commercial property group with over 40 years of success in Birmingham City Centre. We are seeking an experienced Asset Manager to oversee a diverse portfolio of commercial and residential properties. This role focuses on optimizing financial performance, enhancing tenant satisfaction, and driving asset value growth. You will be responsible for strategic asset management, lease negotiations, and stakeholder engagement while ensuring efficient operational performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a mixed-use commercial portfolio, including warehouses, industrial sites, land, and retail properties.
- Develop and implement strategies to maximize asset value and performance.
- Oversee lease negotiations, rent reviews, and dilapidations, identifying revenue-generating opportunities.
- Monitor the financial performance of estates, including debt collection and service charge management.
- Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with external agencies, legal teams, surveyors, and public bodies.
- Identify and execute opportunities for asset improvement and portfolio expansion.
About You:
- Proven experience in property portfolio or asset management.
- Strong knowledge of Landlord & Tenant Law, lease management, and property legislation.
- Excellent financial, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Ability to effectively manage multiple properties and stakeholders.
- Proactive and results-driven, thriving in a fast-paced environment.
